WORLD WIDE WEB PAGE PRODUCTION WITH HTML
CAOS 190H, Fall 1999
Final Project
Requirements and Grading
Due date: 12/14/99
All students are required to complete a final project, an original web site based on a subject of your choosing. The final project, like all your work for this class, must be original work done by you without the aid of software that codes HTML for you (image map generating software is OK). Your final project must be completed by 12/14/99 (the final exam date for the class).Your final project will be viewed in Netscape Communicator 4.5.
The grade you receive for your final will be your grade for the class.
All final projects must meet these conditions:
- All files associated with your final must be in one folder (though this folder may contain subfolders) Your links should be relative (with the exception of links to external sites, which need to be absolute), so that your site is functional whether viewed from a disk or on-line. Of course, it's OK that CGI scripts will not function if your site is viewed from a disk.
- You must upload your final project folder to be inside your existing folder in the webclass folder on the server. (Even if you have other web space available to you, and you are using your final project elsewhere, you must still upload your entire final project into your folder in webclass, and your final project must be fully functional when viewed from webclass.)
- You must also turn in your final on a floppy disk, Mac or PC. If it does not fit on a floppy, you can put it on multiple disks or a Zip disk. (If you talk to me ahead of time, I will provide you with a Zip disk, if necessary. Talk to me first if you think your project will not fit on a floppy disk.)
